FUNCTIONAL COMPONENTS
More Functions in One Precisely Designed Component
We design and manufacture functional components for demanding design and assembly applications. Thanks to multi-stage forming, rolling and other technologies, we can integrate several functions into a single part, helping to simplify product design and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Functional Components Designed for Specific Applications
Functional components are designed for demanding design and assembly applications where standard parts cannot fulfil all the required functions. Double-ended threaded studs, screws with special heads, multi-diameter rivets, screws and other components can combine several functions in a single part.
We use technologies also available for our fastening solutions and extend them with extensive material-forming capabilities using multi-stage forming machines and specialised rolling equipment. This allows us to produce more complex geometries and functional features with high productivity in series production.
Development begins at the initial component design stage and takes place in close cooperation with the customer. The aim is to design a component that provides maximum functionality while delivering savings in the component itself, assembly, logistics and quality.
Design flexibility
We adapt the component geometry to its actual function.
Function integration
We combine several design functions in a single component.
Efficient forming
We use multi-stage forming and specialised rolling technologies.
Development and testing
We design, document and functionally test our components.
What can we provide for you?
From the initial idea to the final series-produced component, we provide comprehensive technical support. We design the functional geometry of the component, the manufacturing process and the required tooling, and we can verify the finished parts through application and mechanical testing.
Component Design
We design a geometry suitable for forming while taking the required function into account.
Engineering
We prepare the required technical drawings and 3D model.
Process Design
We design the manufacturing process to achieve the required parameters.
Application Design
We verify the functional and mechanical properties of the finished component in our laboratory.
After Sales Support
We assist with the application of the component directly on the customer’s assembly line.
Tool Design
We design and manufacture tooling in-house to accelerate prototyping.
Our Products
Double-ended threaded studs
Functional connections with different threads for specific applications
Double-ended threaded studs are fastening elements with threads on both ends, designed for strong and precise connections between components. They enable a detachable connection with simple assembly and are used in automotive, mechanical engineering and other industrial applications.
In addition to standard versions, we also offer studs with different thread types, for example for direct installation into plastic using REMFORM® II HS™ threads or into aluminium alloys using TAPTITE 2000® threads. The design can also incorporate an integrated washer, locating pin, TORX PLUS® drive, MATpoint® lead-in or F-caps thread-locking adhesive.
- Strong and stable connection
- Design flexibility
- Easier assembly
- Single-component solution
- Safe assembly
- Precise component positioning
Screws with special heads
Custom head geometry for specific design requirements
Screws with special heads are specially designed fastening elements for applications with specific requirements regarding installation space, functionality or safety. We design the head geometry individually according to the specific application.
In addition to transmitting installation torque, the screw head can ensure correct component orientation, reduce the required installation space or integrate additional functional features. The design can include non-standard dimensions, contact surfaces, lead-ins, shoulders, grooves, protrusions or combinations of these features.

Multi-diameter rivets
Multi-diameter rivets for flexible and stable assembly connections
Multi-diameter rivets are specially designed fastening elements that allow the joint to be adapted to different material thicknesses and conditions of the final assembly. They provide flexible assembly, reliable hole filling and solutions for automotive and industrial production.
Their special geometry allows multiple contact diameters to be created during riveting or the final shape to be adapted to the specific assembly. The design can therefore provide suitable load distribution, precise hole filling and the required mechanical strength.

Multi-diameter screws
Special geometry for precise positioning and maximum functionality
Multi-diameter screws are special threaded fasteners featuring several diameter zones. They are designed for precise component positioning, stable connections and design optimisation in demanding automotive and industrial applications.
During production, we can combine multi-stage forming with multiple rolling operations or the rolling of special geometries. The finished component can also incorporate additional technologies and functional features used within our fastening solutions.

Non-threaded components
Highly productive manufacturing of complex functional parts
Multi-stage forming technology enables us to manufacture not only conventional fastening elements but also functional non-threaded components. This includes, for example, parts with internal or external gearing and components with eccentric geometries that can be significantly more expensive to manufacture using conventional machining.
We can combine multi-stage forming with the rolling of special geometries and subsequent machining. The high productivity of cold forming helps reduce the cost of series-produced components while achieving high utilisation of the input material.
