Stable Material Properties Through a Controlled Heat Treatment Process
We use heat treatment to achieve targeted changes in the mechanical and surface properties of steel components. On our continuous line, we provide quenching and tempering, carburizing and carbonitriding, primarily for smaller components processed in high-volume series.
The wide belt allows components to be processed in a shallow layer, supporting a more uniform and homogeneous heat treatment process. The active process atmosphere also protects components against scaling and limits unwanted surface oxidation.
Quenching takes place directly within the line without handling heated components in air and without unnecessary intermediate cooling. The technology also includes an integrated tempering furnace, allowing the next stage of the process to follow directly after quenching.
Continuous process
Components pass through the individual stages without unnecessary intermediate handling.
Clean surface
The active atmosphere protects the surface during heat treatment.
High homogeneity

Our Technologies
Quenching and tempering
Quenching and tempering for higher strength and toughness
Quenching and tempering combines hardening followed by tempering in order to increase the hardness and strength of steel while reducing its brittleness. During austenitizing, the steel is heated to a high temperature at which its internal structure changes.
This is followed by rapid cooling in oil, creating a hard martensitic structure. Subsequent tempering at a lower temperature reduces material brittleness and improves its toughness and impact resistance.
Why our technology?
The continuous line allows quenching and tempering to be combined into one consecutive process. The controlled active atmosphere and continuous flow of components support stable material properties and uniform treatment in series production.
- Higher material hardness
- Increased component strength
- Improved toughness
- Lower material brittleness
- Integrated quenching and tempering
- Stable series process
Carburizing
Hard surface while maintaining a tough core
Carburizing is a case-hardening process in which the surface of low-carbon steel components is enriched with carbon. After subsequent quenching, a hard surface layer with high wear resistance is created.
The inner part of the component retains greater toughness, enabling it to withstand impact loads more effectively and reducing the risk of cracking. The resulting combination of properties is suitable for mechanically stressed components.
Why our technology?
Continuous processing in a controlled atmosphere enables a stable carburizing process followed by quenching. Components are protected against scale formation during the process and remain free from unnecessary handling between the individual stages.
- Hard surface layer
- High wear resistance
- Tough core
- Good impact resistance
- Controlled process atmosphere
- Stable series processing
Carbonitriding
Higher surface resistance through a combination of carbon and nitrogen
Carbonitriding is a thermo-chemical treatment in which carbon and nitrogen simultaneously penetrate the surface layer of steel. Ammonia is added to the process atmosphere and releases nitrogen at high temperature, contributing to changes in the properties of the surface layer.
The process increases surface hardness and wear resistance and can also improve the hardenability of materials that are more difficult to process using conventional quenching. Lower process temperatures can also help reduce deformation and the risk of cracking.
Why our technology?
The controlled active atmosphere of the continuous line enables precise control of process conditions for thermo-chemical treatment. Continuous component flow and integrated quenching support stable results even when processing large series of smaller components.
- Higher surface hardness
- Increased wear resistance
- Improved material hardenability
- Lower risk of deformation
- Lower risk of cracking
- Stable continuous process
