Tumbling as a Controlled Step in the Manufacturing Process
Tumbling is a proven technology for the bulk surface finishing of metal parts. During the process, the parts move together with appropriately selected finishing media and process fluid, which gradually remove burrs, round edges and unify the final surface.
The technology is particularly suitable for smaller metal parts processed in larger production series. We always adapt the process parameters to the material, geometry, initial condition of the component and the required result.
We do not consider mass finishing an isolated operation. It can follow machining or heat treatment and prepare components for surface treatment, industrial washing and subsequent technical cleanliness inspection.

Tumbling technology
High-capacity tumbling for efficient series production
We use a high-capacity tumbling line designed for processing large production series of smaller metal parts. The process runs under stable and repeatable conditions and also includes separation of the finished components from the finishing media.
For each order, we select the appropriate type of finishing media, process compounds and processing time. We continuously monitor the parameters to maintain the required result throughout the entire production batch, from the first load to the last.

Integration with technical cleanliness
From a finished surface to a clean and laboratory-verified component
Tumbling does not have to be the final processing step. We can directly follow it with industrial washing on our own cleaning lines and subsequent laboratory verification of technical cleanliness according to VDA 19.1 / ISO 16232.
Within a single order, the customer can therefore receive components that have been surface-finished, cleaned and subsequently measured. We record the entire process from receipt of the components through to dispatch and, upon request, provide documentation of the processes used and measurement results.
