SURFACE TREATMENTS

Comprehensive Surface Treatments for High Durability

We provide electroplating and other surface treatments for fasteners and technical components. Thanks to our in-house electroplating facility, we combine production, heat treatment, surface treatment, inspection and subsequent packaging within a single process.

Surface Treatment Designed According to the Function of Each Component

We specialise in comprehensive electroplated surface treatments for fasteners and technical components. Our main technologies include zinc electroplating and highly corrosion-resistant zinc-nickel coatings, complemented by other specialised processes according to the specific application.

Depending on the size, geometry and quantity of components, we use barrel or rack plating. The resulting surface properties can be further modified through suitable passivation, sealing, lubricant coatings or protective topcoats.

We regularly inspect the quality of surface treatments. Using X-ray technology, we verify coating thickness and composition and, according to customer requirements, also provide inspection certificates, PPAP documentation and corrosion testing.

Corrosion protection

We select the appropriate coating system according to the application and specification.

Functional properties

We also modify friction properties, passivation and final sealing.

High capacity

Automated lines enable us to process large volumes of components.

Final inspection

We inspect coating thickness, composition and other required parameters.

What can we provide for you?

We provide the entire surface treatment process, from selecting the appropriate technology to final inspection and documentation. We always adapt the coating system to the material, component geometry, required corrosion resistance and other functional requirements.

Our Technologies

Zinc electroplating

Reliable corrosion protection for fasteners and technical components

Zinc electroplating is one of the most widely used methods for protecting steel components against corrosion. We offer both barrel and rack zinc plating according to the type, size and quantity of components being processed.

The resulting zinc coating can be supplemented with blue, transparent or thick-film passivation and, depending on specific requirements, with subsequent surface sealing.

Why our technology?

High production capacity and the ability to combine different zinc plating, passivation and sealing processes allow us to adapt the final surface treatment to the specific product and required level of protection.

Zinc-nickel

Highly corrosion-resistant coating for demanding industrial applications

Zinc-nickel alloy coatings are primarily intended for components with high corrosion resistance requirements. We perform alkaline barrel ZnNi plating on automated barrel lines.

The coating contains approximately 12–15% nickel and can be supplemented with transparent or black passivation, surface sealing or subsequent application of lubricant coatings.

Why our technology?

The automated process enables stable and repeatable results in series production. ZnNi is particularly suitable for demanding applications in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries.

Barrel and rack plating

Flexible processing from small series-produced parts to larger components

Barrel plating is particularly suitable for screws, nuts, washers and other smaller metal components manufactured in larger series. Automated lines enable efficient processing of large volumes under stable process conditions.

Rack plating is used for larger or geometrically complex components that cannot be processed in bulk in a barrel. Components are individually mounted on racks and the processing method is selected individually.

Why our technology?

The combination of barrel and rack processing allows us to select the appropriate technology according to the size, geometry and quantity of components while maintaining consistent coating quality.

Special and functional surface treatments

Surface treatment adapted to the functional requirements of the component

In addition to standard electroplated coatings, we also provide subsequent technologies that allow us to modify corrosion resistance, friction properties and the final behaviour of the surface. These include passivation, sealing, lubricant coatings and protective topcoats.

Our portfolio also includes the special Zinklad MGL coating system designed for technically demanding applications. The specific coating system is selected according to the drawing and customer specification.

Why our technology?

The ability to combine the base coating with additional functional layers allows us to create a solution precisely tailored to the required corrosion resistance, appearance and friction properties.

Aluminium anodizing and Zamak passivation

Protective surface treatments for aluminium and zinc alloys

Anodizing creates a durable oxide layer on the surface of aluminium and its alloys, increasing both corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The technology is suitable for both technical and visual components.

For Zamak components, we offer direct passivation without the need for prior zinc electroplating. The treatment increases surface protection while preserving the characteristics of the base material.

Why our technology?

Thanks to dedicated technologies for aluminium and zinc alloys, we can effectively protect materials for which conventional zinc electroplating is not the optimal solution.
